Lithic Bloom: A Sculptural Garden
In an era where nature is becoming increasingly elusive, Lithic Bloom emerges as an eternal garden, where flora does not wither but is instead immortalized in stone. This collection transforms the fragility of petals into petrified forms, the softness of leaves into mineral geometry, and the vibrancy of life into sculptural permanence.
Each piece in Lithic Bloom echoes the forms and essence of the natural world, paying homage to the diversity of botanical life. Like an otherworldly conservatory, these stone artifacts compose a sculptural garden, where each element is a frozen moment in nature’s evolving dance.
At the heart of this landscape stands Florea, a modular composition consisting of a centerpiece, two stools, and two auxiliary tables, mirroring the organic asymmetry of anemones, peonies, and clover leaves—an altar of floral harmony captured in stone. Surrounding it, seven lithic sentinels rise, creating a journey through the rich botanical diversity of the world. Three of them function as floor lamps, while another serves as a scent diffuser, enhancing the immersive experience. Each sentinel embodies the essence of a unique ecosystem, celebrating the intricate relationships between plants and the landscapes they inhabit.
Completing this sculptural garden, the Hydraea chair takes shape as a fluid drop of blue calcite, an embodiment of water, life’s vital element, now crystallized in stone. Together, these pieces form a botanical relic for the future, a vision of flora sculpted beyond time. Lithic Bloom is an invitation to rethink our connection to nature, a journey through the world’s plant diversity, and an archive of what once was a glimpse of what may remain.
